Sammy: I'm 17 & I've been having sex with my boyfriend for about 3 months. We always use a condom,& he always pulls out before & he finishes on his own. We never seem to find rips or tears on the condoms.
My last period was 7/3/12 & I'm getting the symptoms/signs for my period to arrive (Tender breasts, back aches, bloating, etc). But I feel like I'm a few days late. My period has been irregular since I first started it. But I'm just wondering if it's sex that delays the period, or stress. I just really want to know 'cause I'm kinda scared to find out if I'm pregnant. Please help!

Period

Answer 1:

Sex AND Stress delays your period. And you know what delays it even more? Convincing yourself that you might be pregnant. Not joking..this is a fact.

If semen hasn't entered your vagina, you are not pregnant. And considering he wears a condom AND doesn't ejaculate because of the sex...then there's no possible way for you to be pregnant..

But you should let him finish seriously...that's like not good for a guy..

Answer 2: My periods have always been very irregular. (I have one maybe every 4-6 months and they last maybe 3days). But this is not a new thing since I have been sexually active (I am married), it has occurred since mine first began at 10. There are many things that can lead to late or irregular periods. Yes, pregnancy is possible. Stress most definitely can, also. Then there are things such as diet changes, activity level changes, changing hormones, elevation changes, added stress.. There are many things that can cause irregularity. If you are used to them coming on the same exact time period and they are late that could be cause for some worry. But don't stress too much, that won't help anything. You can go to a clinic and take a pee test or buy a cheap test to be sure you are not pregnant and rule that out... Good luck, just remember don't stress or worry - it will be fine. :) Have a great day
