Everyone wants to lose weight fast but there could be a problem of gaining it back if too fast. also a too strict diet makes you crave more. A registered dietitian told me to eat from all food groups and just eat smaller portions. ( measure things out if need be. ) I stick to 1200 calories per day and never skip breakfast. ( sparkpeople.com is a good site. ) 
Also exercising - either walking, dancing, going up and down stairs, squats against wall of work out at a gym.

Dont you think if there was some magical pill or something you could take, everyone and their grandma that wanted to lose weight would be taking it? Its just not that simple. Its going to take some determination on your part. It just depends on how much effort you are wanting to put into it. In order to maximize your weight loss you need to go on a diet, coupled with daily exercise, and you need to start keeping a journal and counting your calories. Heres a simple math problem. 

The number of calories you take in minus the number of calories you burn will determine if you lose or gain weight. If the number is positive you gain weight, if its zero, your weight stays the same, if its negative you lose weight. I would start on a 1000 calorie a day diet. Anything less and its going to be bad for your body. No sodium (no salt, processed foods, fast food) it will cause you to retain water and bloat you. No sugary drinks like sodas. WATER WATER WATER. I also highly recommend either the P90X or the Insanity workout. They are both great, and you can do them in the comfort of your own home for only 40 mins a day, 5 days a week. If you can do both of these, depending on how hard you want to work at it. You can easily lose 30 lbs in around 40-50 days.
